ACTION LINE: THE GIFT
The most profound gifts are not things we buy, but the talents we uncover, cultivate, and share. This special issue celebrates The Gift - the radical act of giving back by expanding and offering what you do best. Whether it’s mastering a specific art form, like designer Thom Browne whose work I deeply admire and who has redefined how we think about uniform, tailoring, and how clothing shapes the body, or channeling engineering brilliance into innovations like solar power, the act of sharing one’s expertise through teaching, performing, or creating is a contribution of epic proportion. Giving is an expression of gratitude, and when we share our gifts, we spark a chain reaction of light, movement, nature, glamour, comfort, and structure. In these times especially, sharing our gifts is not just generous; it’s necessary, now and always.
